Slump Buster is Illinois

Hawks need to break out of this slump. Thank god the ILLINI are coming to town. Iowa needs a game to "clean things up"

Yesterday I saw a team battle, but they had mental breakdowns in key situations. Also you saw again our Oline struggle against an "aggressive" defense. I think you will see Iowa get back to basics and also I wouldn't be surprised to see them shuffle the Oline around for the Illini.

For fans who are wanting ferentz fired, look at LSU. They just got beat at home (throttled more like it) vs TROY. Troy was going in for the dagger and they fumbled. Otherwise that game would of been a 17pt loss. The grass is not always greener on the other side. We have 2 losses by 9 pts.

I get the "hangover" argument, but consider that Michigan St just came off a beating to Notre Dame and has Michigan this week. Weren't we supposed to be their "trap game?" We're not very accommodating.

The game will probably be a nail-biter into the 4th quarter. I expect Iowa to win, but would not be surprised if they lost.
