Mederville - one of the many suburbs of Elkader. Was the farm north or south of Elkader. I probably at least knew the name.

Lived just south of there for a time growing up. Had a mile long lane that I walked every day getting onto and off of the bus. Lived in a log cabin and has two lakes within walking distance. I’d take that kinda living over city living everyday.
