Kirk, is a risk-averse control freak that will never....let an OC attack the way they want. O'Keefe's teams put up crazy offensive numbers before KFz hired him. Then somehow...it died.

I don't know what happened to him in his youth...maybe he was tied to a tree and beaten after fumbling in Jr HIgh football...or worse. But it's clear he'll never get past the risk management approach to offense. And this...is why he'll never be a "great" coach. "Good" coach...oh yeah, a fine mentor of young men and a respected citizen of his community.

But never a "great" football coach.

Hayden said quite clearly... he wanted to hire guys who had aspirations to be a Head Coach. What a contrast from Kirk...who seems to want an OC he can keep under his thumb.

Yep. 2 types of CEOs. 1 wants the best possible people under him and let’s them work. The other wants the most obedient robots under them. They do exactly what he wants, so he never has to worry about them making him look bad.
