Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it looks like the eastern half of Iowa will get a good amount of snow Sunday. Probably impacting travel for the Minnesota game. If you don't want to drive in the snow, make sure you give your tickets to people who will!

This is 12 hour snowfall totals from 6 AM-6 PM Sunday. 8-10 inches possible in east-central Iowa

Hopefully it will turn out to be "snowverated" like the most recent great snowstorm we were told was coming.

Live in central Iowa... yesterday morning we were told to expect a "dusting" of snow. A few hours later, voila, there was over 2" of 'snowdust' all over my drive.

Not a big deal. Just goes to show that things can change and that it is a forecast, not a certainty.

Exactly. I live in central Iowa and a week ago we were told to expect 6 to 8" of snow and probably got around 3". All of the schools were closed but should have just been delayed. It's winter in Iowa so I just expect some bad weather and don't get too excited about forecasts.
