I think both Taylor and Dake could easily be world medalists.
I wouldn't rank Taylor #1 in the world, like FLO did, but given that he pretty much crushes everyone in the US except multi gold medalist Burroughs, Olympic bronze medalist Cox, and his kryptonite, Dake, Taylor has beaten some very top tier international guys.
Yeah, Dake hasn't yet made the "starting" team either, but considering he's only been bested by the best international FS wrestler in USA since John Smith and Bruce B in JB, and being undersized, losing a squeaker to Cox, it's kind of bad luck. The best talent in USA in recent years has been at 74kg.

I agree, that was the most confusing part about the whole situation to me. It would be nice to get some info on that.......
I wonder if the NCAA and USAW will take a good look at whether referees will need security detail on the mat when Bael's guys are wrestling. Why should these hard-working refs possibly be put in harms way?
Or maybe Jason Bryant. Better yet get Foley on it, he'd get to the bottom of it.
Edited this because it read like I was lumping the Flo guys and Jason in with Foley. Saylor and Pyles aren't journalists but they're ok and Bryant is actually a pretty good journalist. Foley is just a clown.

Their response would be similar to a newspaper retraction. You have seen it before, the newspaper goes front page with something that is proven wrong, the apology is on page 74, mixed in with the dog food advertisements.
They're too busy trying to catch Gilman using the wrong spoon at dinner.
