So....did we ever find out about Luke Troy's status as a commit?

I wonder if Troy is holding off to sign to see if he gets a better offer, and maybe Iowa is allowing him to because they reallocated $ to be able to afford bigger targets. Just seems weird nothing has been said on either side.

I think that may be whats happening, maybe he's waiting to sign until after his SR season, like Happel did. Maybe he wants to try to up his stock by winning a CA state title, and hopefully beating some studs during the season. Especially with him having some injury problems the last two years that account for some of his less than stellar performances.

I think he will be at iron man. TnT don't seem like the type to negotiate much. Either u wanna be a hawk or you don't.

ISU did not offer him a full athletic scholarship, but they were recruiting him hard. Not sure (if) he was going to get any academic money

Thats too bad. Could really use him.

I think there are other weights in need than 157/165. Going to need a 149 after Sorensen..unless Turk moves up to make room for Happel.. or Kemdawg goes down, so Alex 157 and Young 165...

If Turk is a career 141 I would be shocked. I don't see it happening.

He never signed, so Iowa is not allowed to comment on him at all. Anything official would have to come from the wrestler.

That would be a terrible attitude for a college coach. Very young kids making an incredible tough life decision; I would expect cajoling and empathy. I think TnT are smart enough to understand that.
