I don't know if they still have the minefields between Gitmo and the rest of Cuba, but I suppose they could be released there to benefit the Cuban economy.

The Cuban government is taking their environmental responsibility very seriously.
In response to the recent island wide blackout they have mandated 72 hours blackouts while they cycle power around the island, reducing their carbon footprint to levels that would make Greta blush.
