Just got off the phone with my best friend. He has had it for three years and the oncologist is telling him he has two left. Do you know anything about it? He is only 52. Can that be right?
My business partner got diagnosed with a very rare form about three years ago. Went to Moffitt here in Tampa Bay which is highly regarded for cancer treatment. After a year of chemo and whatnot they told him he was in the clear. Long story short, they fvcked up and misdiagnosed his type of leukemia. He found a specialist in New England that was the guru of his kind of cancer. Went through treatment all over again. This time they got it and he’s been in remission since. It never fully goes away, but as long as it’s in remission you’re good to live a normal life. Do you happen to know what type he has? I’d be happy to pass along this specialist info should it be helpful. I’ll ask my business partner and get back to this thread. FVCK CANCERJust got off the phone with my best friend. There are multiple types of leukemia...some more aggressive than others.Grandpa had it and died at 46 years old. That was around 1956. Thought it had a high cure rate now though.
