I've never met Jake, but by all accounts he is a great guy and every hawkeye fan knows how great of a guy Brody is. I was just pointing out that this thread is only slightly off topic.

I just replied to Wild Turk on the wrestling board about how November can't get here soon enough. Brutal - made even the legendary 6-4 game not look that bad.

It greatly simplifies what I will generally be doing on Saturdays this fall. I knew the OL wouldn't be good as we sacrificed recruiting that during the sanctions, but 10 sacks? LOL.

I'm a Philadelphia fan so fairly inured to sports disappointment, so that's the way I'll rationalize it.

If you didn't like 6-4 game vs PSU, you have no appreciation for 2 great defensive teams dictating a game. Try watching the line play as well as the linebackers and secondary. This game was one of my favorite all time games. Two D's playing near perfect D!
