Well, he's been a volunteer coach for a couple of years at quality programs. I wouldn't call that a good-looking resume.
I would say being a successful ASSISTANT coach (at least) at a quality program would be a good-looking resume.
Kansas just hired the 18-year head coach at Stanford as an assistant. Now that's a good looking resume.
I have no idea whether he'll be successful. I certainly hope so!
I guess I just hoped we would have hired someone a little more proven.
