That does appear consistent with what many of them have said.
And they've done absolutely nothing to deal with the forthcoming SS funding crisis - they simply want it to break so they can eliminate it entirely.
Dems may not be perfect, either, but at least they have pushed proposals to shore up SS funds with rational ideas. Anything they try to do, the GOP will quite literally do the opposite, irrespective of the harm it creates for Main St Americans.
