Agree, but two freshman tackles Iowa rolls the dice each week. Wirfs played like a senior last week, and a freshman today.
We've looked better against the top 3 in the east than we have vs most the west.....
Only because we played two of the three games at home and had a historic win against Ohio State (credit where credit is due). Iowa is 2-2 against the mighty West. The two wins came at home. They had one good game where they put it all together and, amazingly, it was against Ohio State. Even against the powerful Fighting Illini at home they sucked almost the entire first half before wearing them down by late 3rd quarter. We're really reaching for straws here to prop up how bad this offense is and how mediocre overall this team is, aren't we? This is a Quicklane Bowl team and they'll likely get blown out if they play as "high" as the Music City Bowl (or whatever it's called; hopefully Iowa won't have to play Mississippi State, South Carolina, or any bowl eligible SEC team this year. Iowa could use a bowl win even if it's against Akron).

Taking time to criticize those who are here to let off steam is another level of d bag. The offense once again let the defense down. The number of games that this scenario has played out in KF's tenure is nit good. And yes, his salary matters.
I would like to add, Excuses always excuses for this coaching staff. No other team has young players, injuries or some other problem.
Coach Ferentz is a good guy but is time think about getting better.

The most ridiculous post on this site is nowhere near as ridiculous as the embarrassment that took place in Madison yesterday. And, as far as I know, none of the posters on here are being paid $4 million a year, nor do they have a staff full of other highly-paid professionals whose only job is to figure out how to play a competitive football game. Yesterday was a massive failure, one of a legion of such failures under KF.

I told you guys in the pre-game threads, less experience and Freshmen tackles with baby fat on them were not going to be able to go head to gead with Wisconsin. This loss was not on the Stanley, he had no time to throw. We could not Run, they owned the line of scrimmage.this was a case of boys squaring off against men with 30 lbs more muscle. Additionally, we have less experience on how to handle movement.

We are a pretty good team at home and flat and lathargic on the road. I like Kirk but things need to change or we will get blown out in another bowl game. We have a lot of young talent as we seen last week. I didn't expect a win today but a more competitive game offensiveley. Defense did what they could despite losing the field position battle the entire game.
What should we be paying?

Personally, I have no problem with the annual salaries. It's the insane buyout clauses that bother me.
So was OSU just an average team? We showed life and creativity vs OSU. We looked like a "new to D1 football" team vs Wiscy (after putting up 50+pts on then #6 OSU and all their 5* recruits).

They played better competition in OSU (even without Bosa) and destroyed them. "Freshman" is an excuse now as they have played enough to know what to do.
