I do not agree about turning the media off completely but this guy taken at face value gives all us something to reflect about
If you’re chewing on that, you’re doing it wrong.Much rather chew on this.

That's not what she says!If you’re chewing on that, you’re doing it wrong.
Or give them a way to do it legally. Most of us aren't native either. This is an invented crisis. We've always had people trying to cross the border illegally. . . that goes back 50+ years. Now suddenly we're told it's a crisis.
Not saying we shouldn't try to fix the issue but we're gonna have to work together on that. That can't happen with Trump running interference telling his people not to work with the Dems on the project and that can't happen with governors defying federal authority.
That can only happen with specific (and reasonable) action steps that one wants taken to take care of this problem and the ability to compromise. And they have to be specific solutions NOT results. Secure the border is a result not a solution. That's like saying I want to be a billionaire and demanding someone else find a way to make me one.
And for the record I've posted several times that the biggest thing we can do for the border is come down HARD on the people supplying work to illegals in this country. We don't do that. You can raid a farm or a factory full of illegal labor arrest all the illegals there and the owner is going to simply just go find himself some new illegals to work for cheap.
Border is almost 2000 miles long. Trying to physically secure 2,000 miles is impossible. You have to take away their reason for coming.

It hasn't happened at this rate. This is an invented crisis. We've always had people trying to cross the border illegally. . . that goes back 50+ years. Now suddenly we're told it's a crisis.

Okay. I’ll try it tonight and report back. That's not what she says!
Looks like a lot of undocumented workers. Either the penalties aren't harsh enough or the enforcement is too lax to dissuade employers from hiring them.It hasn't happened at this rate.

So Trump let them slip through and Biden is actually stopping them?It hasn't happened at this rate.

It's why I prefer to see numbers over percentages. So Trump let them slip through and Biden is actually stopping them?
Statistics can tell many stories based upon interpretation.
