Well, they've had it pretty easy the past year or so, it was bound to swing at some point. Really nice win for Nebraska though, I was glad to see that.
On a side note, Iowa is now an embarrassing loss for everyone the rest of the year. Anyone Iowa beats will have lost to a team that lost to a 1AA school..
And almost no matter what else Iowa does this year, good or bad, there will always be the reference to the NDSU game.

Iowa loses to Purdue. Not hard to imagine after the way NDSU beat them on the LOS.
Yes, it doesn't matter how "good" they actually are as a FB team, you don't lose to a 1AA school and live it down. It doesn't happen.
The good news is we still get to settle the score with the Alpha Betas on the field. The bad news is that this loss is still horsesh*t.....terrible.
Minnesota is going to win the West. Mark it down.

Meh, I've already heard about as much as I will from my Husker-fan co-workers. Surprisingly, most people around here know all about NDSU (NDSU recruits the hell out of Omaha and their two best players are from here) and have much respect for them. Regardless of how great NDSU is at their level, it still doesn't change the fact that the loss today is absolutely inexcusable.
Nebrask fan here. You aren't going to hear much from me. North Dakota is no slouch and we aren't world beaters by any means. At this point all I can say about my Huskers is we are improved from last year. How much remains to be seen.
It's always rough in Eastern NE, but this will just add to the thing I've heard almost every year since Solich got fired...

Well after the torture they got 7 times last season and Iowa always getting the last laugh, I don't feel too bad letting them have a bit of time in the sun.
