He was one of my favorite players. I'm a BC guy and always thought he was your equivalent to our Jamie Silva. I played SS in college, and so those ball hawking, head hunting types are always, "my guys."

I was also a big fan of Angerer so I went to the '10 Orange Bowl (Man, was that night COLD), to check them out and hang out with some Hawkeye fans. Had a great time, invited to more tailgates than I could count. Some of you are probably on here.

At any rate, wanted to stop by to pass my condolences. I also put up a little memorial for him on my website, www.15saturdays.com.

Peace and much love.

It was the coldest Orange on record. I was there too. Tyler always had a knack to be where he could make the play. He has been the closest thing to being our next Bob Sanders. Your condolences are greatly appreciated by Hawkeye fans, I'm sure.

Thought I remembered them saying it was the coldest on record in the stadium that night. Whatever the temp was 40's or so, it sure felt colder than the thermometer said. I did not take the right clothes either.

Sanders was another guy I loved to watch play!
