Where the hell is my February abortion check?

Things have been pretty busy at Soros HQ.

They are a little behind due to the 74 trillion illegals here needing their voter IDs and bus assignments for November.

I also heard rumors all the crisis actors didn't get their bonuses this month. What a mess, just be patient, your check will be there after all the Deep State guys get theirs. Not sure how long that will take, since we don't really know who they are, or where they hide, but they are out there, right?

“Changed his story after meeting with Russian officials”… it’s all been true.

Charging a whistle-blower for lying to the FBI and people think this is the act of an honest justice department.

When will Chris Steele be charged? How about all those intelligence agents that signed a letter stating the Hunter Biden laptop was fake? Did the FBI not deliberately set a perjury or obstruction trap on those issues?

When lying to the fbi is the charge it is a clear sign of manipulative bullshit. That shouldn't even be a crime. The fbi can invent any story they want. They have demonstrated they are willing to lie to a judge to get warrants. They absolutely set out to interview people in the hope they can take an answer, any answer, and use it to find a lie and charge the person being interviewed. They do this even when the underlying purpose of the interview doesn't involve a crime. They want to invent a charge for lying where no other crime exists

Are we supposed to believe the special prosecutor that tried to get immunity for hunter Biden in the dark if night has the best intent when it comes to charging a witness?

I am pretty sure lying to the FBI is a crime, regardless of who you are, and if they can prove it, then you're in trouble. This is why it will go through the court system. Just like the guys that misled on their warrants and such, when it boiled down the truth came out and action was taken.

Also, a bunch of guys who may have political motivation signing a letter saying something is true really leaves a lot to be desired. Are these all guys who had direct access and saw the laptop? Doubtful. Maybe if all these guys went under oath and made their case as to why they believe that, it would hold more weight.

And why would that be a crime again? It should not be a crime at all. Especially as the FBI has demonstrated again and again that they will attempt to entrap people into the crime of lying to them even when there is no other crime associated with the interaction. Wr have FBI agent communications stating their goal is to get someone on the record in a way where they can charge them. Which of course means the interpretation of what is a lie to them will be looked at through the lens of finding a crime to charge people.

This is like the national security agency coming out last week and stating very clearly they need the power to monitor all if us without a warrant at any time for our own safety.

Set aside the partisan bullshit and understand that this is not how justice should operate. A federal agent deliberately arranging a way to charge people by how he asks questions and how they respond.

So now the government has their headlines on this whistle-blower and everyone has drawn their conclusions immediately that the evidence against Biden isn't credible. How convenient.

This is not how any of this should work.

I can't believe Rico hasn't dropped into this thread yet. I figured he'd at least be in here to spam the thread with porn or something to get the thread deleted. Well, maybe not porn since that doesn't get threads deleted anymore but something that will.

You seem to lack basic facts of the charges against Smirnov, who brought the charges and the basis. Smirnov wasn't a whistle-blower. He was an FBI informant and assigned a handler. The handler told Smirnov numerous times that the information he was providing was being used for a criminal investigation and he was obligated to tell the truth. Smirnov proceeded to make us stories of meeting with Burisma and Hunter while Biden was VP. For all intents and purposes, the FBI believed Smirnov and closed his case. The special prosecutor--to his teams credit--recognized the inconsistencies when they met with Smirnov. Thus, the reason for the charges.

If you want to legalize lying to the FBI or police, then petition to change the code. But it would be an interesting world if a person could go and make up a story about your criminal activity without any repercussions when the stories turn out to be false.

Nutty take.

For a long time law enforcement agencies from local police to the FBI use questionable tactics and are constitutionally allowed to lie to people to get what they need. This is not a new problem. But I would say if you don't commit crimes, and you don't lie to those asking you about it (in fact never speak to them at all without a lawyer) then you're probably ok. The burden of proof beyond a reasonable doubt lies on the state, so if they are making accusations that he lied, they better be able to prove it, or they look bad. Feds generally don't prosecute if they don't have a solid case.

Yes there are a lot of politically motivated people out there that think they will help their cause by saying things that aren't true. In America you can do that, just not under oath. If this guy said one thing, and the FBI can prove he said another under oath, then there isn't really anything sinister going on here and he's just screwed.

Basically, one step short of swatting someone. But you're ok with that, right @hawkedoff ?
