-2 when I woke up this morning. It's 18° right now. Someone pass its spring along to mother nature
Great. Right from snow to f*cking tornadoes.
Sounds like Reed is headed to Iowa to chase the storm. He tends to be in the right place for finding storms. Could be interesting.
Upper level jet on this thing looks to be roaring. That's what you can get with these early season storms. 500mb to 700mb are usually steering level for these storms, and given the strength of the shear, it looks like they could be rocketing NE at 50+ MPH.
The main jet streak, further south, is 100+ knots. (probably in the 120mph to 150mph range)
And back to snow after the tornadoesGreat. Right from snow to f*cking tornadoes.
Yup, Iowa is in his plans.Sounds like Reed is headed to Iowa to chase the storm. He tends to be in the right place for finding storms. Could be interesting.

I think we can allow a one time exception to the rule. You know the rules
Undergiffed comedy
The last thing on read on the National Weather Service site was giving a timeframe of 3-9PM.Have they mentioned the time of day this is supposed to go down? I hate tornadoes in the middle of the night. At least if it is during the day you can keep your eye on things…
ThanksThe last thing on read on the National Weather Service site was giving a timeframe of 3-9PM.
Yeah, my play would probably be right on the low pressure as it moves through Iowa. Looked at the shear profiles on this and while strong it's all a bit linear, could force off a big line quick. (not as ideal for chasing or tornadoes) High wind is a threat, for sure.Yup, Iowa is in his plans.

However, the dynamics right on the low are such that you usually will get a few tornadoes there even if everything else lines out.
Sadly, that team finished 13-15 overall and 6-12 in a ten-member Big 10, good for 8th place. 😢
There were some good players on the roster that year. I can’t remember why they sucked?Sadly, that team finished 13-15 overall and 6-12 in a ten-member Big 10, good for 8th place. 😢
Reed Shmeed. Until Frankie MacDonald puts it out, I'm not worrying.Sounds like Reed is headed to Iowa to chase the storm. He tends to be in the right place for finding storms. Could be interesting.
I wish I had Frankie's game! SMH.Reed Shmeed. Until Frankie MacDonald puts it out, I'm not worrying.
I think more than just his thoughts are up

I’d rather have the sweet chili habanero wings but thanks.Hard to say. Call it beginning around 3ish but as mentioned, the path is everything here. Where the triple point sets up will determine where the big stuff hits as well as when. But the low is forecast to track over Iowa, so that kinda puts the target east/south of that track.
It'll pop some discreet super cells, then go linear as it tracks east.
And fyi this is the appetizer. Another one of these is potentially setting up for Tuesday.
Reed had tweeted earlier this week that the tornado/severe storm outlook for the coming weeks is something he hasn't seen in over 10 years. It'll be interesting. And fyi this is the appetizer. Another one of these is potentially setting up for Tuesday.
Did you know Reed was banging Ginger Z at one time?Reed had tweeted earlier this week that the tornado/severe storm outlook for the coming weeks is something he hasn't seen in over 10 years. It'll be interesting.
