How does Kemmerer get hit for stalling but fix can put in a 5K running backwards and not get shit? Then to see John Smith ask for a stall against ADS was embarrassing.

Desanto's behavior is better than many posters on this board! Good lord Iowa will win the NCAA championship. The fact they don't have 10 finalist is because of poor reffing and stalling? oh forgot steriods. The crying and complaining is not something the wrestlers are doing.
My boys are good wrestlers. They are MS age, too early to tell what kind of offers they will get if any. The oldest is on most of the MS Big Boards after doing well at Tulsa the last two years. As a dad, I want to stay out of any kind of college choices, with one exception, OSU is not an option. That is the one school I wouldn't let my kids wrestle for.

Impartial observer/reader. This entire post has been quite entertaining. I do find it interesting that in the eyes of the Hawks Fix will always be a cheater and, despite having served his suspension, always will be. BUT, ADS has grown up under the tutelage of the Brands Bros and is now a "different person" than the one who intentionally tried to injure Micic.

I don't like Fix and usually want more stalling called but I actually don't think that match was egregious. Keep in mind Fix was warned for stalling in the second period. And he scored in the first period and wasted a lot of time in the third in on a leg, so there weren't many other opportunities to hit him IMO. Desanto did more than just push, but a lot of the times when Fix was "backing up" were when Desanto was pushing.
On another note gotta give Desanto credit for getting out from bottom quickly twice though. Certainly wouldn't be surprised if he wins the next one.
I missed the year suspension for DeSanto. If the acts were equally egregious wouldn’t the penalty be similar? If not then the more serious penalty would probably seem to warrant a label sticking longer.

Desanto can and has changed. Fix will always be a druggie.
I have always been a fan of Desanto’s motor but couldn’t stand the extracurricular stuff. But it’s noticeable how much better he’s controlling his emotions this year. I’ve seen nothing but gracious behavior from him at B1Gs and Nationals. Even if you don’t root for the singlet a wrestler wears, you have to give a young man credit for making changes and improving his conduct.

Seriously? Why would anyone compare these two situations? One was an act in the heat of the moment, the other a premeditated decision to take peds and give yourself an illegal advantage.
The fundamental question is whether or not someone can change. The situations are immaterial. Either someone can change or they can't - it shouldn't matter whether or not the individual in question wrestles for the team you support or root against.
People CAN change = ADS has matured under the Brands Bros and Fix served his suspension and moved on.
People CANNOT change = ADS is a punk and Fix is a cheater.
That’s what happens when you get dinged for PEDs. Every single accomplishment is now questioned and doubted. Personally, I feel he got off way too easy due to covid. His one year ban was effectively a no year ban. He didn’t receive any punishment in the end, so I’m not really ready to give him the benefit of the doubt. PEDs affect performance. If you've tested positive once for PEDs, your body isn't natural. Not quite comparable to a behavior issue that has no bearing on competitive performance.

The situations aren't immaterial. You're comparing competitive performance with off the mat behavior.
Spot on! It's easy to know that Desanto has made improvements on controlling his emotions because we all see it on video. While I like to believe Fix is clean, it would be pretty easy to drink someone else's orange juice without anyone seeing....that doubt very much lingers.

Micic got exactly what he deserved--a scare and a reminder. I know many wrestlers who could easily pin me (and have) but I train to hurt people not pin them so while they take me down me I will crush their hyoid, rupture their orbital globe and snap their styloid process and watch them suffocate blind in pain--but hey, they got back points and pinned me!
Insulting someone on the internet (like you are) is one thing but it is another thing to do it in person--might get more than you bargained for. I dont condone violence but Micic got what he deserved.

Honest question, as you've said it twice now. Were you mat-side for the Micic-ADS match and personally hear Micic call him a retard? Or is this speculation?
Either way, I stand by my premise. Either people can change or they can't, regardless of situation, regardless of the team they wrestle for, etc.

Being a cheater as a professional athlete is not the same as smacking a smartass upside the head.
Sins of omission vs. sins of commission. People can change. Making a premeditated decision to cheat(spare me ‘dads’ ped) is a touch different than an emotional short term response.
You are wrong -- very substantial differences... that's why they are called SELECTIVE androgen receptor modulators. Do your homework before you comment.
