I was trying to tell people a few weeks ago that he was not our issue on offense. Seemed like people were ready to replace him.
Bottom line, kid throws a hell of a ball. He will never be a great scrambler, we just need him to know when to run and get 4-5 yards. Great arm strength and accuracy. He had some trouble finding that deep touch but looks in sync now.
With the slowness of our run game for the first part of the BIg10 schedule I thought we needed to let Stanley make throws going forward and make plays in the passing game to finish our schedule. Looks like the coaches got my memo. Im sure BF would like to have that MSU and NW game back to change the game plan a bit.
