According to SalaryExpert, as of October 2024, the average annual salary for an orange picker is approximately $24,524, equating to an hourly rate of about $11.79. If we hire Americans, what do you think the cost of OJ climbs to? Don't get me wrong, I'm all about tighter border controls, better immigration laws, etc. But I'm not blind to think gathering them all up at once isn't going to make inflation surge again. What the heck is the solution here?
