SIAP somewhere I didn't read the whole thread on the game, however, is it just complete coincidence that the best game the ladies have played in weeks was the night Hannah was out? I'm not trying to be negative but was there something schematic that changed last night? i'm honestly confused how they could go from a complete mess to looking like the team we had all expected. Was it just better execution, more focus just because they knew she was not there inside? Im honestly perplexed.

She was out against Oregon as well. That didn't look so great.
Good point.
Forgot about that.
Did it look to anyone they were doing anything different scheme wise? Or were they just making shots.
I mean maybe it's just that simple? Making your layups?

Is the doom and gloom over for now? Jan is over her head. Quit throwing in to the post. Lucy may not be able to turn it around, time running out. All freshmen need to start with Syd and Kylie on the bench. blah blah freaking blah blah blah.

It wasn't perfect, but none of them are.

While I'm hopeful this becomes a trend, we're still turning the ball over at an atrocious rate. Valuing your possessions and taking care of the ball on offensive sets needs to be a priority if we expect to win many more games this season.

Tiresome isn’t it…and they hate being called out

Obviously making shots at a high rate helps. But, spacing and ball movement are also better than when both Hannah and another big are in the game. HS playing the 4 and standing out on the perimeter allows defenders to play our shooters differently.

It's 100% not her fault, but she's a 5 in a 4's body.

making shots can hide a lot of bad mistakes

Hannah is a solid player, just not a difference maker IMHO

Definitely… it can also make you think the flow was better, the spacing was better, etc. etc. It’s not likely 20 games in a whole bunch of shit changed against Washington when we still committed 23 turnovers.

Keep in mind she didn’t play last game either
