I’m all for this. Why should I care about those that can’t vote for their own self interests.
This is based on pure adjusted gross, and this doesn’t take into consideration any exemption and deduction changes.

Actually it is more garbage than I had first thought. Their methodology incorporates projected tariffs.
This was an open secret from day 1 after the Trump cuts the first time around. The real accomplishment was to get GOP voters in the middle and lower brackets to defend this while watching the wealthy write themselves bigger and bigger checks.
If only someone could have seen this coming.

If you remove the tariffs, the top 1% would see an almost $80,000 reduction in tax liability.
If you voted for Trump, and you have children, you voted to take money from your own family and give it to the America's richest people.
Not sure you could make a more succinct case for why they made a big mistake and were conned.

So, in other words, it will be even more unequal than that and even more beneficial to the rich.

Meh. Same old same old. Leftists tell me that a Republican tax plan will increase my taxes. And again, my marginal rate will decrease, though my tax bill will increase because I end up making substantially more money. That’s not the result of the tax plan. That’s just the result of upward mobility.
