You grow up with a literal Nazi father hang out with a bunch of white supremacists including NeoNazis....of course you’re going to pronounce Yosemite as “Semites”.
He probably thinks it refers to his son-in-laws' people.

Not sure what all he had to do with this legislation but I’ll give him credit for signing it. More protection for our national park system is always a plus.

I don't think it's Sundown Syndrome. It's just that he's a moron with a 4th grade reading level, a learning disorder, and a desperate need for glasses that he is too vain to wear in public.

Read TDS books like Trump On The Couch,Mary Trump’s new book, or any article or book over the years that has mentioned that Trump struggles with reading and has an extremely short attention span.
The best part is that he tried to correct it.

The funny thing is you have to imagine the speech writer thought of this and used Yosemite because they thought it would be easy. Imagine his pronunciation of:
Haleakala
Kenai Fjords
Cuyahoga Valley
Guadalupe
Saguaro
Sequoia
They should have used “White Sands”. Trump would have lingered lovingly over that one and it would be on brand.
But it's a main national park, that an average person watches something about it yearly......if not more frequently
You lost me at average. Trump isn’t average. He golfs, he chats on the phone, and watches 6-7 hours of Fox per day. He does not travel like normal people. Like his father he has not traveled the world, or even the US. Trips are around golf or business. If he ever went to Yosemite he’d say it’s a dump, and propose a 50 story mixed use condo and golf resort with faux gold facade to class the place up a bit.
Maybe we'll get to see. I think Delaware Dunce is going to staff his government with qualified people and then not torpedo them as a reaction to any publicity as they try to do their jobs.

One guy comes from a middle class upbringing and goes to college at Delaware and gets a JD at Syracuse and works his way up to Vice President of the United States, the other is given $30 million dollars and loses money on all his businesses, including casinos and can't pronounce "Yosemite." "Dunce" certainly applies to one of these guys, but I don't think it's the one you meant.

To be fair to Trump, in an upset he didn't go with Jellystone in place of Yellowstone, so that's a win for him.
