I was lucky enough to see about half of these runs in person: The ones against Vikings, Bears, and Bills. All on Thanksgiving. Barry was incredible...
I don’t know how Barry didn’t break his own ankles. Just ridiculous.I was lucky enough to see about half of these runs in person: The ones against Vikings, Bears, and Bills. All on Thanksgiving. Barry was incredible...
Testify my brother! While it stung a little, it cool and refreshing compared to what my mom would put on our open wounds....merthiolate. Holy shit did that stuff burn. As we'd scream, she would tell us to "blow on it." WTF, hurricane force winds weren't cooling off that flame.
Shame he had to play for Detroit.I was lucky enough to see about half of these runs in person: The ones against Vikings, Bears, and Bills. All on Thanksgiving. Barry was incredible...
They made the playoffs a few times in there. Even an NFC Championship game. Easily the best years of that franchise in the Super Bowl era.Shame he had to play for Detroit.
Yeah but for the most part they were awful. Would have like to have seen him make and win a Super Bowl. They made the playoffs a few times in there. Even an NFC Championship game. Easily the best years of that franchise in the Super Bowl era.
In 1971 Joe Torre hit .363 with 230 hits and 353 total bases for the Cardinals. He was voted MVP…
It worked for him. They ran it even when they were down big. His fourth quarter yards were insane.Yeah but for the most part they were awful. Would have like to have seen him make and win a Super Bowl.
god damn GOATI was lucky enough to see about half of these runs in person: The ones against Vikings, Bears, and Bills. All on Thanksgiving. Barry was incredible...
With a tip of the hat to @torbee , I thought I would start a thread to the best twitter page out there.
Marino is my all-time QB1. Brady, Rodgers, etc…they’re awesome. But Marino….that guy was something else.My God I miss watching that dude play football. I actually pity people who couldn't see guys like him, Payton, LT, Marino, Fouts, Lott, etc play football live. Seeing these things happen, in real time, not knowing it was going to happen...just unreal.
Pretty sure we had that vacuum.
OMG that just brought back some huge memories.
Not even defensemen, coaches and commentators.
Jagr played RW
Holy cow I belly laughed at this one.
