You posted a tweet claiming the SCOTUS should have blocked Alabama’s map from being used in 2022 and claimed that if not for this “assist” the Dems would control the House. This map cost Dems, at most, one seat.
But even if we give you the benefit of the doubt and allow you to change your argument to gerrymandering across the country, the net advantage gained by Republicans is less than the 5 additional seats Dems would have needed for a majority.
Maryland is one of the most gerrymandered states in America, giving Dems as much as a 3-seat advantage. The last time any Republican at all represented Massachusetts in the US House, Kirk Ferentz was the offensive line coach for the Baltimore Ravens.
Republicans got 3 million more votes than Dems in the 2022 House races. I’m old enough to remember when the popular vote mattered to you guys.
