Bought my house 38 years ago and would like to have it re-surveyed to definitely know where my property lines are. How long does it take a surveyor to do this and how much do they charge? There is a large tree close to or on the line that may become an issue with my neighbor . TIA

And the end result may be favorable or unfavorable..
But more power to you. Like in my case, I know that the lines have been blurred over the years to my south border of property. I just don't think it is worth my money to have them come out and say, you're neighbor is doing stuff on 2 feet by 50 feet. Previous owner didn't have the fence on that side properly installed by property line. I'm not going to use it, so I'm letting it go.
