His team won their first State game, today, over Solon. Jacob Coons, a LB? recruit from Solon was on
the opposing team.

T.J. averages about 20 ppg on a team that could win it all

If he's in the same class as wahlert, they won't win it all.

Wasn't Brandon Myers a stud on his high school basketball team as well? Hopefully they have a similar skill set.

Hock looks to have added about 10 pounds looks to be in the 235 to 245 range. Ran well jumped well and played big yesterday in the game. He could be a huge get for the Hawks.

I personally think he is going to be the best player in this class. I feel like he has the same skill set as Brandon Meyers, and we all know what he did in his time at Iowa.
I too believe TJ will turn into a very special player at Iowa. With his size and ability we might see him on the field this year.

Brandon was a better athlete and much better basketball player in high school then Hock. Hock is a nice high school basketball player but he isn't as nearly skilled. He has been getting by with his size advantage so far. His work ethic will need to improve once he gets to Iowa City. Brandon, he was skilled and and could dunk on you multiple times through the course of a game. Handled the ball well and could shoot it. I hope Hock does well but I'm not holding my breathe. All of this is one person's opinion. ;)

Every kid in every class COULD be a huge get. Kirk likes multi-sport athletes. So this kid may have a step up on the competition. The 2016 class is probably better than the pundits rated it.

I'm excited about Hockenson as a football player at Iowa. I think he's gonna be the next great tight end and have a solid career.
I just don't think he's any matchup for Pemsl on the basketball court.

I think they are Undefeated, so I guess I don't get what youre saying my friend
23-1 entering the tourney (well 24-2 now) and by the score I said.

When Pella played Chariton last year the best player on the field was Noah Clayberg and it wasn't even close. If Schulte wasn't injured Hockenson would have been third. Glad they are all Hawkeyes, but Hockenson definitely isn't the best player in the class.

I'm pretty sure Brandon wanted to be a basketball player until his senior year when realized he either needed to grow 2-3 inches or play football. He was going to UNI until IA flipped him at the last minute. But, as a soph and Junior, he focused on BBall.

Seems like I read that Coons is going to UNI, but don't quote me on that.
