Tailgating Minnesota game

Never been to a night game before, along with the wrestling meet, what time do the spots fill up along melrose for parking, etc.

Hawks are 9-0 + Wrestling Meet + Sunny and 55 = probably early, I'd expect people to start rolling in between 7am-9am, probably really busy by 11-12.

There will be cars waiting to get in the lots at 6AM and before. Going to be a long day of partying.

I think a big thing will be when the families arrive for this game. Lots of times families with younger kids will come around 3-4 for a night game but with the wrestling meet I can see them showing up much earlier than usual to make it an all day event. Can't wait for next Saturday, the atmosphere should be electric.

Any idea how quickly the Finkbine commuter lot fills up for 11 am games?

Our group is probably gonna set up there since it's a general public lot.

Believe it or not, this'll be Ol' Doodle's and Mrs. D's first game @ Kinnick since 2005! Family is coming from Cincinnati and Omaha too. So yeah, if any of you more recently experienced folks could give Doodle the lowdown on how quickly the Finkbine Commuter Lot fills up, that'd be groovy. We were thinking of getting there between 8 & 9, but could go earlier if necessary.
