Gotta hear an official explanation on that targeting non-call. I’m no ASU fan but objectively that looked like a screw job on a crucial non-call.

Also funny to watch the posters who were excited to bury the Big 12 early in this thread. ASU certainly proved they belonged.

Once both Boise and AZ St got their legs under them they were both good. AZ St looked lost early but all credit for battling back. Which is why I want all teams to have a chance. I don’t want to see 6 teams from the Big 10 vs 6 teams from the SEC.

I'm rooting for ASU, sorta. I just don't like the SEC.

However, I'm not following your point. I'm not sure I see anyone validating Iowa. We were simply not great this year and lost to two really bad teams, one decent team that was covered up by some teams I don't think are good in their conference and one that if they win today might win the whole thing. That's 1.5 losses that are okay, 2.5 that showed we had no business being in the top 25. Then blew a game against a mid team in a bowl game to top it off.

That’s my bad. I had some drinks. Some of my Iowa friends were openly rooting against me with ASU. Annoyed me a bit.

Hell of a game. I’m pretty devastated. Worst I’ve felt sports wise since the rose bowl vs Stanford

To be honest, there are a lot of Iowa fans that are not fond of the treatment they received at ASU. I can't be the only one that witnessed poor fans of Texas at the Alamo Bowl.

Both ASU and Arizona were pretty rough especially Arizona. Definitely wanted ASU to win today though.

So, we learned:
1) The SEC is NOT so dominant that their 3-loss teams should be allowed free passes into the playoff.
2) B1G refs do in fact take paydays.
3) The semifinal will be shown on ESPN as: Ohio State vs. Texas*

Yeah there are some bad apples there. I know some fans that feel that way about their trip to Iowa city too. The best fanbase I’ve met, objectively, has been Washington. I have season tickets there because I love CFB. Their fans are amazing even though I’m not a true fan of the team haha.

The Arizona game was really bad. I know some awesome Arizona fans too but many fans went overboard that night Iowa was there.
