Yep, just one of the may portions of the flag code constantly flaunted by "patriots", like those big flags held horizontal at football games.

Maybe I’m wrong but I think there is a very important distinction between wearing an actual flag for clothing as compared to wearing flag-themed clothing that simply has stars and stripes on it.

It would be hard to argue that's not a flag they're wearing. They even call them "flag shirts".

It’s a little weird that you’re not supposed to wear anything resembling the flag yet it’s fine to put a patch of a flag on a piece of clothing. Did a patch company write this up so they could make some money.

I also wonder how many millions of items of clothing have something resembling the flag. Heck I have a pair of swim trunks I guess I have to stop wearing.
