TD Ameritrade Concession Fail

A few years ago I went to the Ohio State/Iowa BIG championship game. It was a Sunday. They weren't planning on selling beer but once Iowa won on Saturday afternoon the knew there would be a slew of thirsty Hawkeye fans wanting beer. The line was long and they didn't have a contract for that day so they had to empty the beer from the cans and place it in cups so they could "legally" sell it.

This was the spring following Iowa fans selling out Indy of alcohol.

I really dont understand it all...
The concession stands at the B1G tourney are run by volunteer groups raising money for certain groups. There weren’t supposed to be games Friday morning and most of the volunteers had to work. Most of the volunteers working for the 9PM game were there all day.

Now I feel bad

with the small attendance, how can they be bad at concessions?

do they do anything right in Omaha?

time to move to Indy or Des Moines.

;)
Indianapolis -- Washington Park built in 1905 4-5,000 attendance
Des Moines -- Principle Park, 8,000 attendance.
Omaha -- TD Ameritrade Park, 17,000,18,000 Great support, 10 year contract.
Anything else you need to know besides how fast you can get you beer at 11:00 a.m.
