Seems like a odd move. He seemed like a good fit at UNI. I wonder if he follows Lara to Oregon State. Him or Kaylor bump up to 133.
Who could blame him? Corvallis is a pretty boring town but I guess that’s relative to surroundings. Lol
Cedar falls isn’t exactly the most exciting place in the world.
I graduated from UNI and like Cedar Falls. Lol
Wonder if this isn’t due to UNI not offering the major he wants for grad school, considering he is a grad transfer.
Rumor has it he wants to go 133 and cannot beat out their current 33 pounder. Not sure if that is true or not.
Teske is from Fort Dodge. So yeah...it is exciting in comparison.
He can't make consistently make 125 and be effective, and would be 2nd string at 133.
Assuming Teske does explore other options, what does that leave UNI with at 125? Will Cory Land be expected to step right into the starting lineup or is he projected to a higher weight? I go to many of their duals because I live in CF, but don't follow the program really closely.
Who even says he can beat Schriever?
I realize that, but a portal guy isn't moving to sit the bench. That's why I'm skeptical.
Maybe he thinks he can beat Schriever, but I'm not sure he can.

For the record, he's a better fundamental wrestler than either Biscoglia or Farber, both of whom are skilled but are prone to brain farts. Maybe he can beat them both but just wants to go to grad school elsewhere. (But if so, why wait until Aug?)
In any case, definitely not a shoe-in for AA @ 133 (or 125, for that matter).

What? Why not? There’s 0.0% chance Cullan doesn’t think he can beat Brody Teske. Teske is a nice wrestler but has yet to make the podium at 125 and will now be going 133.
0 percent chance he’d leave because Teske was gunning for his spot. He’d probably think it would be good to have a new training partner to work with.
Yeah this. I didn't check wrestlestat but I thought Cullan beat Biscoglia last year at an open? If Teske can't take the 133 spot at UNI, I don't see his odds improving at Iowa.
teske can think what he wants, but he wouldn't be handed the spot. if he's transferring because he can't beat biscoglia, he is not an upgrade. schriever handled biscoglia pretty easily last year. i would take schriever of the two and i'm not someone who is super high on him either.
I don’t think biscoglia has anything to do with the transfer. Idk if he could beat schriever but could be nice to have competition at the weight and may the best man win

That's why he's not Iowa bound. He'll go to a school with an obvious opening at 133?
Talk is he wants to go 133 and can't beat Biscoglia. Schriever beat Biscoglia 2 times last year. Other talk is possibly UNI doesn't have his grad school major, he always liked Iowa and maybe a shot with them is worth the risk of not starting. Also I think Schriever was injured before U23s and ended up not wrestling. I don't know what that injury was.
I’m wondering about his ability to stay healthy. Teske might think it’s only a matter of time before the spot is his by default.
Good point - if Schriever is doing his job this really is the summer for him to make the jump. If he can’t beat teske…
Someone posted above that CS was injured before U20’s? If so, maybe this rumor of Teske to Iowa makes more sense.
Any chance he can bulk up to 57?
