I just listened to Tom Ryan on Flo. He intimated that Teske was likely heading to IC. I think what he actually said was "And now they (Iowa) might get Teske".

If an Iowa kid wants to finish his wrestling career in the black and gold more power to him. He isn’t going to be handed anything but he will get a fair shot if he does commit.
This. If you make the weight and win the wrestle-off, then you're the guy. If not, then you help the guy who is, win that title. All you should ever expect is a fair shot.
I don't see anyone saying they don't want him on the team. Just to be clear.
