Tevaun Smith News

Behind Hilton, Moncreif, and Dorset there isn't much. The Colts only drafted linemen on offense so there are no rookie competition besides UDFAs. Typically most NFL teams carry 5-6 WR on their 53, so all he has to do is be in the top 2-3 behind the 3 listed above.

Nice read and thanks for posting! I never grow tired of watching that, and inevitably get goose bumps the first time around. With the way defenses had playing to that point, was feeling a lot better about the outcome of that game. Ouch....again.

Sure hope T. Smith can stick. Would like to see all his hard work pay off for him. Good luck, young man!

Great for TS. He was a guy that oozed with ability that flew under the radar. I thought we should have got him the ball more but part of that was he drew a lot of attention from opposing secondaries. He had a direct impact on Matt V's numbers last year. If I recall correctly the game TS sat out with injury Matt V was non existent. We need J Smith or Scheel to step up big time this year to try replace what TS brought to the table.

One thing is for certain. You may not come out of Iowa with gaudy numbers and noterierty but you are definitely prepared to compete for a job at the next level.

So glad for him. Size, speed & hands. He shoulda been drafted & yes, too late now but we shoulda thrown in up to him more. Then again...
How many games was he out last year?
That may have hurt him.

His health was his biggest problem for his lack of production on the field. It wouldn't surprise me to see him excel at the next level.

He is probably as well rounded a receiver as we have had in sometime by they time he finished. He didnt seem to always run the most crisp routes but dude was strong and fast and didnt show much fear going over the middle. I wouldn't be surprised if he makes a roster in the next couple years.
