I get fried chicken is somehow "racist" to the blacks, but since when did conconut and pineapple hit that list?
This has always confused me I am as white as can be and I love fried chicken and watermelon.

My racism toward black people is not based on dietary preferences.
As I rule, I do not click on Infowars links. Can someone sum up the situation?
Oh it was candy? I thought it was actual fruit. That changes everything. Two high school bands have a tradition of exchanging gifts with each other. This year, one band gave the other Halloween candy in watermelon, coconut and pineapple flavors. The school administration determined the candy was "racist"...
White people need to step up our game with regard to stereotypes. We've spent half a millenium enslaving, oppressing, and discriminating against black people. But for some reason the best we can do at stereotyping them is they have big dicks, they're really good at sports, and they like fried chicken and watermelon. This has always confused me I am as white as can be and I love fried chicken and watermelon.
Maybe he meant to say he hates their culture and criminal ways and not the color of their skin...I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. So what is your racism towards black people based on then?

Not that it changes my opinion of this being a complete joke - but according to the article it was actual fruit.
"Their gift contained candy and fruits, such as a small watermelon, coconut and pineapple and watermelon gum, and was packaged in a plastic decorated Halloween jack-o-lantern."
I have not and it wouldn't surprise me if it was intentional to get a little coverage. Still curious as who actually lauded the complaint.I believe that was written poorly. I've never seen an actual watermelon that would fit in a plastic jack-o-lantern. Have you?

South Park is ****ing KILLING it this season.
I think they did a little extra writing over the summer this time around. Just fantastic so far this year.

I'm not racist toward black people, it was a joke. But I really don't get how the chicken/watermelon thing became a stereotype about black people. I've known a lot of white people in my life, and most have been known to eat chicken and watermelon.
I don't get this. I LOVE fried chicken and grape soda. How is it racist? I'm white, real white.
Not only that, but once they returned they would apparently not be allowed to return to the high school band. The saddest thing out of all of this? The students were automatically guilty. They said they meant nothing by it, and were upset that anyone would make anything out of it.........and they were still suspended.
Can someone enlighten me what is racist about pinnapple and coconut?
Which of these is racist?Anyone that gives me Kit-Kat bars offends me.
