We got rid of the QB that throws picks at our own 10 yr line to bail out the opponent. We have a significantly better signal caller this time around.

You got rid of him because he was a headcase with an addiction. Which he was when you annointed him as the next savior. Hell, he was so good he beat out Lanning, the guy your play-by-play guy said should have won the Heisman last year. Perennial losers always have that one guy that is going to be the difference. Then they see there was a reason why this guy couldn't play anywhere and move on to the next messiah. Now it is a guy who wasn't good enough to play in JC.

Iowa being a national title contender benefits the sport of college football.

This concept that we should 'only keep the fittest with full bellies lest there be too many mouths to feed' is f***ing ridiculous.

We don't need to see the same 6-7 f***ing programs absolutely HAVE to be nationally relevant to keep interest in the sport of college football.


It actually KILLS my f***ing interest in this sport, honestly. Alabama winning the national title 5 out of 9 years, KILLS my interest in the sport.

I have lived thru three coach Macks here and one Charlie and now this guy. Each year in august they national champions. Usually by october or so they are no longer nc. Except a couple yrs there under mack brown
