Excellent excellent defense and hustle all day today, from everyone. Mike G's defense has taken a major step up in the last few weeks. Today he gave both Sobolewski and McIntosh fits today. Woody was just everywhere it seemed. Uthoff must hold the record for most blocked three-pointers. And not mentioned much, if ever, is how consistently tough Uthoff has been on the defensive boards. Sapp is playing very well at both ends. And Uhl is showing flashes--and when he's aggressive he almost always makes positive plays. His catch on the wing of that off-target pass today was impressive.
Edit: Didn't mean to leave out Jok. He's made huge strides defensively just on effort alone. He's reachy-grabby quite a bit but often he gets away with it and creates deflections and turnovers.
I think somewhat overlooked in White's great play of late is how well Mike is playing, especially defensively. He's been setting the tone at both ends.
