As I still run through all scenarios that give Iowa the victory, I still come back to what a ride this year had been.
Our expectations have been far exceeded and look at the highlight reels we have for years to come back and watch.
I know we all wanted that game last night badly. But losing in the effort those kids gave, really says a lot about that team as well. A loss is a loss but still more to go.
A loss in the semi or final would have felt just as bad and the feeling of oh so close would still be there. Only 1 team in the top 4 gets to finish with a win.
Now we get go to Phoenix or Pasedena and beat a solid team, finish 13 and 1 and prob finish top 5 on a year most thought would be like last.
