THC Drinks Growing in Eastern Iowa

Seems these are being marketed a lot more aggressively than the stores that sell them market themselves. There's a hemp store in downtown Des Moines that has carried delta 8 and delta 9 products for a couple of years now but they do no local advertising that I've seen. Suddenly this Flying Kites product is released and people have popped into Des Moines subreddit a couple different times to ask specifically where they can find it.
Stopped at Local Craft Cellar on the way home last night and bought a couple of 4 packs. Have to read closely, some are 5mg THC some only 2.5mg. Not a huge seltzer guy so I mixed mine with a little tea. Pretty damn good. And one of the 5mg's gave me a little buzz pretty quick. Could get really crazy and make Vodka Soda's out of them, maybe Gin.
I think its to be a alternative to alcohol. Much more social to have it in drink form than smoking it in front of those that want no part of it.
It's because it's one of the only legal loopholes available in Iowa right now.
If they legalized weed tomorrow, people largely wouldn't bother with THC drinks.

They've got 10mg ones from Climbing Kites now too. I dig em. Gives a great alternative for a post-work beverage over drinking anything w/ alcohol.
With some of the delta gummies/candies I've noticed that I'm pretty damn groggy the next morning and have a more difficult time waking up to work out. With the drinks, I don't have that. I like them a lot.

Yes, you can start feeling them quicker than gummies. They're nowhere near as intense as the gummies, but you can definitely still feel it a bit.
Iowa, with it’s farming culture and fertile soils, should have been out front of this industry.

Local Craft in CR almost always has them. Happys up here in CF always has a ton of them too
Ok. I was hoping they were sold in stores. I only know of Lua in the Des Moines area.
Here is the odd thing, she signed the bill to let this happen. I guess all natural hemp based stuff from Iowa is fine, but demon weed is a step too far?
