The Atlantic: It Was an Ambush

Trump never wanted a deal with Ukraine. They could have signed the document before the press conference. Trump’s loyalty is to Russia and Putin, not to peace.

Ukraine was invaded and is fighting for its very survival.

Israel is bombing children and committing ethnic cleansing for beachfront property.

So when Russia does it, it's BAD and we need to send billions of dollars in aid and weapons... but when Gaza attacks Israel and rapes their women, murders their kids, and takes US hostages everyone is just supposed to let that go?

Russia will never win the war with Ukraine, as we know they don't have personal to occupy every city. I see Ukraine just turning it into a fighting force that moves in and out of Russia destroying refineries, govt building, infrastructer, ships, planes, anywhere Russians have a crowd. This could go on for decades. They will kill Russians one by one in occupied cities in Ukraine.

I see your point. I would argue that if the goal is to end the aggression then Russia can take a little something for their efforts to go a long with a lot of dead soldiers… they get some land, the fighting stops, and we can tell Putin or whoever is in charge of Russia in the future that this is a one-time offer and any future hostilities will be met with the full force of the US and NATO.

Then we can talk about more money for Ukraine to help build their country and their home back from years of war and death.
