I see a lot of people on the board who suddenly think that because Wisconsin lost we are suddenly overwhelming favorites and are going to steamroll to an easy victory.

Wisconsin is still an excellent team and it will, or should be a close hard fought game. Fans who think otherwise are delusional, and I don't see Wisconsin imploding and suddenly sucking complete ass.

I feel just the opposite. I hated seeing them lose because I feel that will get them refocused and play with a sense of urgency. I fear BYU just made our game against Sconnie a lot tougher!

Me too - Wisconsin will be very focused and they know the stakes. I wish they were 3-0 and feeling invincible.

The thing is, Wisconsin can still run the table and make the playoffs. This would of course depend on how well other conference champions finish (obviously if there are undefeated teams from SEC, B12, ACC, PAC, and/or Notre Dame) and perhaps also how well BYU shows from here... but as we know, an early loss to a decent opponent doesn't hurt you if you win out.

I feel this game will hinge on our running game. That is what stood out to me vs UNI, our OL push. If we can't run the ball effectively against them, I think we're screwed. If BYU had 190 yards on the ground, I would hope we can have success.

BF needs to keep their LB's on their heels with his play calling. Screens, lots of TE action, play action rollouts... anything to keep their LB's from being aggressive and coming downhill hard. From what I read, BYU had a lot of motion plays and that seemed to keep them guessing.

Ha. Yes that is a buzz kill yet I was reading this thread while thinking that Iowa is going to see a very different Badger team than the one that just lost. Both of Wisky's lines looked poor and they are not. Wisky is still a 3-4 point favorite this Saturday. I hope the Hawks can get them. It is about time.

Wisconsin was deflated for sure, impossible to not be.

However, now they are focused and pissed. It's only Monday and I can guarantee they have moved on to Iowa and nothing but Iowa.
