In any event, enjoy those five FCS championships. In all candor, that is a great feat. Rising to the top of your fellow competition is always notable. Any true football fan understands this and on paper, Iowa shouldn't have too much difficulty winning. It's certainly fun (for some) to banter with fans of opposing teams. However, it would be easy to underestimate NDSU and overestimate our Hawkeyes based on two games. Neither of Iowa's opponents has won a game yet and memories of the humbling Rose Bowl beat down still rattle around inside my head. There are also a ton of Iowa fans up in the Fargo area that I have run into, who have also adopted NDSU as a second team.

The very best IAA teams are roughly equal to the bottom tier teams in the Power 5 conferences. I admire that they're confident and their fans aren't intimidated. Iowa has lost to plenty of bottom feeder B1G teams over the years. With that said, the Bison aren't beating us. I've got 34-14, Iowa.

Kleiman made more as a D-back coach at NDSU than as D-Coord at UNI. If there was a little bad blood in that regard coming from Chris I wouldn't blame him for it.
