I do think LSU is gonna need to outshoot us if they stand a chance. They've been offensively challenged at times throughout their tourney run.
We just need to continue to be efficient on offense ourselves.

I’m sorry, I wasn’t clear—the 159.5 is how many times Kim Mulkey will make you want to punch her. During the first half.
That's why I suggested in another thread the refs just two-tech her right at the start of the game and get her the f*** out because it would be in the best interest for everyone in the arena, including her...............
When I saw the spread on the SC game at 11.5 I considered putting money on the hawks, but didn't want to jinx it. I definitely put money on Auburn to beat the men, so that the pain and agony of another early exit wouldn't feel so bad...with the expectation that Fran would pee down his leg. That was easy money.
This game kind of has the feel of the USA-Finland hockey final in the 1980 Olympics.
With hopefully the same outcome. Everyone remembers “do you believe in miracles?” and then is like “oh yeah—they played another one”.
I also think Iowa blows LSU out. They're paper tigers, not the juggernaut that South Carolina is.

It’s just a feeling….but I think so too….it feels like the Big Ten tourney….I think the title game was last night. But hopefully the ladies are prepared just the same!

I have never wanted the Hawk's to win a game more than I want them to win tomorrow. I dislike Mulkey because of the disdain she has shown the Hawks on multiple occasions. I want her to finally eat her words.

I’m sure I’m not the only know who thinks the championship game could actually be more of a challenge than the semifinal. In any sport, it’s never easy to come back to earth after a monumental upset win and focus on the next game — especially when the next game is less than 48 hours later.
Of course, we Cheeto-finger fans can assume a blowout win without any consequences, but the Hawks need to buckle down and focus right away, which is no easy task so soon after such a euphoric win. The good news is that our coaching staff and team leaders are just the people to do that.

Hot take. I’m 56 years old. This is the biggest Iowa sporting event of my lifetime. Iowa Michigan in 85 was huge, but it really didn’t end up meaning a national championship or even playing for one. What other game is close?
This. Anyone thinking this will be a walk in the park is crazy. Reese came to Iowa City with Maryland last year and ate Czinano alive. And she likely has a better cast around her this year at LSU.
On the plus side, we just beat the juggernaut with essentially zero offensive contributions from Marshall and Warnock. If we get average production from them, that could be the difference.
Being a Hawkeye fan means preparing for the worst while hoping for the best. Let's hope that hopefully hope wins out in the end. 😁
I expect a challenge, They seem to be more well rounded that SC and showed something with their offense against Va Tech, with Reese turning it up late and that point guard playing well. Gotta put faith in coaches, game plan, CC and the entire team staying mission focused!
