Whilst watching videos of the interviews that were taken after games this past year,...I noticed something. Praise for CJ, directly from the players, and also the mention of playing Iowa Football.........just something to think about.
Wrong as usual, Kirk deserves credit for all the good things he has accomplished, and those great assistants you refer to were always the first to make that clear. I look forward to Kirk leading the Hawks to another resurgence. Of course as a troll, you probably wouldn't want to see that.Originally posted by hawkeyesports92:
Interesting since Ferentz literally could not answer a question about CJ without bringing up how awesome Jake was. Than when the seat gets hot he totally turns on Jake. The guy has been exposed as a poor coach that rode the tails of great assistants.
I am right like usual and my love for the Hawkeyes is why Ferentz has to get ran out of town. I think it is already too late to avoid the deep Lickliter hole for the next coach.Originally posted by Ladell-hawk:

Depends on how good your memory is as to "the good things" Kirk has accomplished.Originally posted by Ladell-hawk:

It's not. But Mulva and Army1 aren't around these days so this genius is clearly heir to the throne.Originally posted by perryhawk:

Might be the dumbest thing I've read on these boards. ..and that is saying something!

I know I'm in the minority, but I buy the explanation that things changed in that game.

I concur as well. I mean I either take Kirk Ferentz word for it or the word of a bunch of cyclone fans on a Hawkeye message board looking to troll. Not a tough decision.Originally posted by cecilB:

People say this now but I seem to remember a time when hordes of fans were demanding that Ken O'Keefe be fired. Websites were even being created to promote Ken's demise.Originally posted by hawkeyesports92:

Okay, fair point on the rest of them but I'm really tired of seeing this. Stanzi improved greatly. JVB improved from his RS Freshman year to his junior year. Rudock was more efficient. The problem is this GDGD offense. The proof is the in difference between JVB Jr. year and Sr. year. Losing McNutt doesn't count for that much of a drop off. Ever since then it seems like the offense hasn't been in sync.Originally posted by revkev73:
When, and other on this board, is the last time you heard someone outside the organization say:
Iowa sure looks well coached?
KF out coached (opponent coach) in this one?
Iowa has some outstanding talent?
I am sure Iowa is worried that KF might listen to other offers?
Iowa's QB sure has developed since his first arrival?
This is assuming he is not a physically crippled in-patient at the UIHC ICU thanks to playing behind the "Maginot Line"......right?Originally posted by Arbitr8:
C.J. will take Iowa to the next level, I compare him to a young Joe Namath!
This ride called Hawkeye Football is about to get real interesting better hop on boyz!
Drop the "whilst" as it is unpronouncible as well as an unwelcome Brit import. While will do just fine.Originally posted by Aegon_Targaryen:

Whilst.... Did not not know whilst was a word until I saw it used in a Airbus...." remain sitting whilst the plane is moving"Originally posted by IamHawkeye:
