Sheik will be in Waterloo next month at the Gable Museum if anybody wants to meet the legend in person.

The stories about The Sheik training and coaching in Minnesota are great. He was partially responsible for changing the tactics used in this country in Greco-Roman with his time at what was then known as the Minnesota Wrestling Club (now the Storm).
The old heads from that Greco-Roman era hold The Sheik in high regard. He's a little mind-melted right now after years of self-imposed abuse during the pro wrestling circuit.

Caught the Sheik video on Netflix a couple of weeks ago. Interesting stuff. Used to despise the guy in the 80s watching him against Hogan. Good stuff ... The guy was a heck of an athlete during his amateur days. The documentary was a pretty interesting look at the man known for the camel clutch ... Oh, and the dude likes to swear a lot ... 
Just got a Sirius subscription in my truck for a fathers day gift. These talks of Sheik on the Stern show had me rolling as I watched old clips of Shiek vs Beetlejuice and the likes. Probably going to start listening to Howard because of this thread.
You gotta watch the Howard stern YouTube vid of the sheik vs iron sheik jr. It's 2 minutes straight of f bombs. I don't know how Sheik didn't have a heart attack because he was so worked up.
