The Man in the High Castle (Spoilers)

Anyone else watch this on Amazon? I just finished it and not quite sure of what to make of it. I thought the concept was interesting but I just can't figure things out.

Who made the films? What were their significance? Who in the resistance was collecting them? From what I could tell, Hitler watched them. And, what were the films? Some sort of alternate reality?

I watched it in like November or something and liked it a lot, but the last episode had me like, "what?!!" Since you put a Spoilers alert on the title I guess I'll add that I liked that it appeared to take place in the years following WW2 had the Germans/Japanese won. I couldn't wrap my head around the films and what they meant or who they are made by, but figured it would make sense done the line, but the way the final episode ended left me confused as hell. Perhaps it will make sense come season 2.

I believe there are alternate timelines. It is apparently sci-fi. Not 100% sure, but I think Hitler was able to fix multiple mistakes by re-waging WW2 over several tries.

The very end still threw me though...with the older Japanese official waking up in the USA as we know it...or as our parents knew it. Also...how did the necklace go from gold to silver or vice versa?

This was kinda my thought too. I think it implies that the Nazis were able to manipulate time.
