For the left to be successful IMO, they need to tone down the rhetoric; MAGA/GOP is racist, homophobic, misogynistic, <insert -ism,- ic identifier> and start listening to what people are talking about like inflation, the border, taxes and address those things.

People weren't dumb enough to fall for what she said or stopped saying during the campaign... she's had plenty of time to show and tell everyone what she believes based on her actions and past words. It's not like she hadn't been governing the prior 4 years in the white house and 4 years before that as senator. Her actions and beliefs don't align with the majority, it's really that simple.

I've got an idea for you, try supporting policies that the vast majority of Americans want. Stop telling people what kind of cars, stoves and furnaces they can have. Stop telling people the crime rate is actually going down when they can obviously see it isn't. Stop telling the parents of young girls that their daughters have to compete against and dress next to men. Stop telling people the border is secure when 15 million people came flowing through in 4 years.

It isn't really because I have often enough spoke on the subject of the Democrats move to neoliberal politics starting back in the 90s which lead to the conservative looking democratic party that we have today. Certainly in comparison to the New Deal era Democrats.
