This is the opinion of an ESPN columnist. I agree. What do you think?

A couple interesting stats:

* North Carolina won a championship after making just 15% of its 3-point attempts and 58% of its free throws.

* There were 44 fouls and 52 free throws between the two teams.

And this observation:

During a timeout with nearly 10 minutes to play in a tight game, a University of Phoenix Stadium filled to the brim with more than 63,000 people fell to a hush.

No buzz. No vociferous cheering from either side. No tangible tension. Perhaps boredom.

Over the years, I attended a lot of regionals. But, after one session in the New Orleans Super Dome, I knew that football stadiums were not the place for basketball. The sight lines are rarely good, the quality of play is often poor, and the experience is overpriced.

i went to a final 4 in the metrodome; we were way up, on a corner, and had to use binoculars. we just wanted to experience it.

The people that go to final fours are people that just want to say that they were there.
That was one of the most boring National Championship games I have ever watched.
The idea of playing basketball in a Football Stadium is a horrible idea and I personally
would never waist my money in attending one.
