Tough ending for JBo today. Still a great player and will miss him.
I don’t really think he was that great and think a lot of his numbers were a result of Garza and the system he was in. I do however feel a little bit bad for him to go out the way he did. Not scoring any points or playing much for that matter in your last game in college.
Will be remembered by me as the brightest of the Bohannon brothers and a great Hawkeye!
You do realize JBO only played one full year with Garzilla in his true form don’t you? Most of his numbers were because of him.
At risk of asking/stating the obvious, why didn't JBo play more today? It was tough seeing him sit for what seemed like a majority of the game. Love the kid and hope the best for him in the future. So many great memories as a result of his clutch shot making ability and free throws.
i think he sat because Fran finally figured out he can’t do anything against athletic guards. He was a team worst -17 for the game.
he played with the best guy to wear an iowa uniform for 4 of his 5 years but you want to say he only played one full year with him? Wow

He also played with Tyler Cook who was pretty effective in the post as well.
He was completely overmatched athletically, and could do nothing. What was the point of having him on the floor? Fran finally figured that out and sat him.
Too little too late. 75% of games his services were highly warranted. Today wasn't one of them. At any rate, helluva career.
Cool, why did you feel the need to post that in an appreciation thread? It's really unfortunate he played like that in last game and I thought fran did a mind-blowingly bad job managing his role as I thought he should have been running through screens without ball to get open shots but jbo deserves our appreciation for his overall body of work
Jordan Bohannan was the best of the 4 brothers and it wasn't even close. Was he flawed, absolutely, but he finished his career as Iowa's leading assist, 3 point leader. and 9th on Iowa's all time scoring list. Not bad for a small guard from Marion, Ia.
At least next year I won't have to hear posters on this board complain about how we don't have guards that can't guard anyone....like that's going to happen!

Also played with Uthoff and jok. So one 2 time all American and 3 other fringe nba guys.
We might miss the attitude that he brought to the court more than anything. One of the all-time best shooters to wear a Hawkeye uniform.
I've watched Iowa basketball my entire life and Jordan is the only Hawkeye that could go to the line in late game situations without raising my blood pressure,.. this kid always had ice in his veins.
I’m thrilled we will have one of the best 3 point and free throws shooters. Also glad to hear that he will play the two and take a lesser role to give our young players their time to shine. Thanks for being a TRUE Hawkeye, unlike my former fav player.
