He's playing like an All Big Ten LB. Dude is an absolute monster out there. He showed flashes of greatness last season, but the leap he's made from last season to this season is nothing short of remarkable. He's playing like a man possessed. And hats off to the other LB's, too. Bower played a solid game filling in for Niemann today, as well. Amazing how our LB play was so sub-par last year but is now the core of the defense. Overall, not a great defensive effort today, but over the course of the year, our LB's have been very tough.

incredibly tough, hard hitter (ask niemann), always around the ball. how good will this guy be? i am not sure i have seen an iowa sophomore linebacker play at this level.

Even though it was a few games ago, that tackle he had against Indiana where came flying from the inside to get the TFL is the kind of highlight the scouts love to show at the Draft.
